Manage your templates

Your Templates lists every template your business owns — the ones you've built in WPAUTOAI and the ones that already live on your Meta WhatsApp account. Each row carries Name, Category, Language, Status and Updated, which is enough to tell at a glance what a template is for and whether it's still current; Search your templates… and Sort by (Latest or Oldest) are there for when the list outgrows a screen. Sync is how Meta's copy of the truth gets here — it pulls your template list down and tells you how many templates it brought back. It runs one way only, Meta → WPAUTOAI, so it never pushes your local work up to Meta for review; run it when a template has been approved or changed on Meta's side and you want WPAUTOAI to catch up.

Status is the one field that decides whether a template is actually usable. Draft lives only in WPAUTOAI and has never been shown to Meta, Pending is sitting in Meta's review queue, Approved has cleared review, and Rejected was declined and needs reworking. Only Approved templates can be used in a campaign — everything else stays invisible to the campaign wizard, so an unapproved template is an idea rather than something you can send. Status also governs editing: drafts are yours to change freely, but Meta owns approved, pending and rejected templates, so opening one of those starts a new variant instead of altering the original. When the list gets noisy, the filter button beside the search box opens Attributes, where you tick the statuses you want to see — and your choice sticks across reloads.

Export downloads the table as messagetemplates.json and Import takes a .json file back in — together they're how you copy a set of templates between accounts, or keep wording safe outside WPAUTOAI before you rework it. Export only covers the templates on the current page, so page through the list if you want the whole library. Anything you import arrives as a Draft regardless of the status in the file, so it still has to go to Meta for review before you can send it. Delete removes a template from WPAUTOAI after a confirmation, and the action cannot be undone — there's no restore, so export anything whose wording you might want later.
