Your privacy matters to us. This Policy describes what personal data we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.
01Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how WPAUTOAI (“WPAUTOAI”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our website and our WhatsApp Business automation platform (the “Service”).
When you use the Service to message your own customers, you are the controller of that data and we act as a processor on your behalf, as described in your agreement with us and these terms.
02Information we collect
- Account data — your name, business name, email, phone number, and password when you register.
- Billing data — plan, transaction records, and limited payment details handled by our payment processor.
- Customer & message data — contacts, conversations, templates, and media you import or exchange through the Service.
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and analytics about how you interact with the Service.
03How we use your information
We use personal data to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- process payments and manage your subscription;
- respond to your requests and provide customer and technical support;
- send service, security, and (where permitted) marketing communications — you can opt out of marketing at any time;
- detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
04WhatsApp Business and message data
Messages you send and receive through the Service are transmitted via the WhatsApp Business Platform and are subject to WhatsApp / Meta’s own terms and privacy practices. We process this content on your behalf to deliver the Service and do not sell it. You are responsible for collecting the consent (“opt-in”) that applicable law and platform policies require before messaging your contacts.
07Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion as described below.
08Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@localchat.app. If your data was provided to us by a business using WPAUTOAI, we may direct your request to that business.
09How we protect your data
We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring — designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10International data transfers
We may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we use appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data-protection laws.
11Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
